Dr Claudia Wyss
Dr Claudia Wyss founded Coriolis Consulting with a simple belief: organisations achieve better outcomes when strategy is grounded in practical leadership experience.
Over the past two decades, Claudia has worked alongside boards, chief executives and executive teams to solve complex challenges across healthcare, government and the private sector. Her career combines executive leadership, clinical expertise and international strategy consulting, giving clients practical advice informed by real-world experience.
As a former Chief Executive, Claudia has led organisations through significant growth, transformation and operational improvement. She has overseen organisations employing more than 3,600 people, managed operating budgets exceeding NZ$600 million and assets valued at more than NZ$12 billion, and delivered measurable improvements in financial performance, organisational capability and service delivery.
Her experience spans business strategy, healthcare transformation, commercial due diligence, organisational design, governance, operating model redesign and large-scale implementation. She has advised organisations ranging from private healthcare providers and investors to central and local government agencies, helping leaders navigate complexity and make confident decisions.
Before founding Coriolis Consulting, Claudia held executive leadership roles across New Zealand's healthcare sector and local government. She previously worked with McKinsey & Company in the United States and the United Kingdom and continues to advise organisations on strategy, growth and transformation.
Claudia holds a Doctor of Medicine and an MBA from Harvard Business School, where she received the Dean's Award. She currently serves as President of the Harvard Business School Association of New Zealand and has held governance roles including Deputy Chair of Pharmac and Future Director of Fisher & Paykel Healthcare.
